BAZAAR HEART DINNER, a
charitable auction held in Moscow on June 30th, raised 539 thousand Euros for
charity. The money will finance the two main programmes of The Naked Heart
Foundation as well as The Bryan Adams Foundation.
The auction lots included 15 one-off Harpers Bazaar covers created by some of the world's top designers, and unique experience lots, such as a personal styling session and tea for two with Diane von Furstenberg in New York, a special tour of Missoni headquarters held by Vittorio Missoni, a Dolce and Gabbana gold necklace, a lunch with Natalie Rykiel, meeting Donatella Versace and many others.
The most expensive lot, however, happened to be a black and white photograph of Natalia and Bryan Adams, taken by Bryan. Christie’s International Director Hugh Edmeades managed to sell it for 105 thousand Euros.
The legendary musician and photographer, Adams played a special acoustic gig, his voice accompanied only by his guitar and the piano. For this occasion, Natalia Vodianova joined him on stage to sing his famous Baby when you are gone.
