Natalia Vodianova and Naked Heart Foundation host afternoon tea at Mari Vanna

On Wednesday 29^th August, Natalia Vodianova hosted a special afternoon tea at Knightsbridge’s Mari Vanna to announce the restaurant’s support of the Naked Heart Foundation. 

Showing their valid support; guests included Tallulah Harlech, Lydia Forte, Katia Elizarova, Benedict Cumberbatch, Dasha Zharova, Celia Dusntone and Burberry’s Sarah Manley.

The intimate affair saw a new dessert The Naked Heart added to the menu; from now guests at Mari Vanna can indulge on this light egg white soufflé with a layer of strawberries and raspberries covered in fresh berry sauce with all of the £9 proceeds going to the charity.

Attendees enjoyed Mari Vanna’s beautiful adorned walls with matryoshka dolls, trinkets and tchotchke, and. ate sumptuous Russian canapés of aubergine and caviar, home cured salmon and soft cheese and herring with carrots and beetroot.

Situated in the heart of Knightsbridge between the doorsteps of One Hyde Park and the Bulgari hotel, Mari Vanna warmly welcomes visitors into the new London home of Russian matriarch, the mythical Mari Vanna. According to Russian folklore, Mari Vanna invited weary guests and travellers into her kitchen for a home‐cooked meal and a cosy retreat.
